2025 GMSV High School Workshop

2025 Good Morning Silicon Valley Association | Youth Innovators: Sustainability Leadership Workshop for High School Students (**8th Grade and up)

GMSV is dedicated to elevating and cultivating the next generation of young leaders (local school students 8th grade and up) in the green economy. If you’ve worked on an ESG project, have an idea for an ESG initiative, or want hands-on experience, join our upcoming workshop! Now is your chance to turn your passion into real impact.

Join GMSV’s workshop to collaborate with experienced professionals and develop your ideas. Explore the green economy and ESG topics, be inspired by sustainability entrepreneurs and impact investors, and engage in stimulating research with peers to deepen your understanding of global sustainability.

Students will not only learn how to become more environmentally sustainable—they will also gain foundational knowledge and motivation to take the next step in sustainability. You’ll have the opportunity to work with a mentor who will guide you in creating a practical outline for your sustainable goals.

Best of all, this will be a great opportunity to learn about networking through becoming GMSV's junior volunteer team as well as establishing valuable relationships that can lead to future internships!

What You Will Gain:

- Lead & Innovate: Dive into leadership and research training – perfect for future change–makers

- ESG is for Everyone: Learn why sustainability isn’t just for CEOs–it starts with YOU

- Build with Purpose: Get hands-on with eco-friendly packaging design and prototype your own solutions

Core Research Topics:

AI & Climate Change - How artificial intelligence is reshaping energy use and reducing carbon emissions

The Hidden Cost of Packaging - Understand the real impact of everyday products on people and the planet
